Armenia
This MAPS MAIN assessment resulted in recommendations aimed at supporting Armenia's efforts to build a modern, efficient and transparent public procurement system. While the country has undertaken significant reforms over the past decade, including the adoption of a new legal framework and the introduction of an electronic procurement platform, the assessment identified opportunities to further strengthen the regulatory framework, professionalise the procurement function, enhance competition and strategic procurement practices, improve the use of procurement data and digital tools, and reinforce accountability, integrity and public oversight.
