The MAPS Public-Private Partnerships & Concessions (PPP) module provides a harmonised tool for assessing PPPs in a public procurement system and focuses mainly on the existence of conditions in that favour and promote efficient, effective, and transparent procurement of PPPs.
Public-private partnerships (PPPs) in public procurement can enhance efficiency, innovation, and infrastructure development by leveraging private sector expertise and investment while ensuring value for money and improved service delivery.
MAPS PPP can be used as an independent tool or in conjunction with/after a MAPS MAIN assessment, as appropriate.
