Sector Level Assessment
The MAPS sector level assessment (SLA) module is intended to provide a harmonized tool for assessing the functioning and performance of the public procurement system and market condistions at the sector level. It can be applied in any sector, such as water and sanitation, roads infrastructure, health, among others.
The module is currently being piloted in two countries. Feedback from the pilots may result in some changes to the final module's methodology.
Assessors who wish to conduct an SLA assessment can follow the same structure as the core MAPS, as indicated in the report template.
