MAPS assessments have been conducted in dozens of countries around the world. Most assessments have been carried out with support from external partners, such as bilateral providers of development aid or multilateral development banks. Other countries are conducting government-led assessments. All assessments are done by qualified experts, and a list of assessors who have participated in assessments that have received the MAPS Seal of Approval can be found here.
Final assessments that are submitted to the MAPS Secretariat and receive the MAPS Seal of Approval will be published on this page.
The following map illustrates the MAPS assessments both at the national and sub-national level.

Approved reports concluded until January 2021

This section shows assessments concluded until January 2021 when the MAPS Secretariat began operations. The MAPS Secretariat and the corresponding external reviewers have reviewed and approved these reports. These reports conform overall to the methodology.

These reports may slightly differ from the most recent guidelines published, bearing in mind that at the time these assessments were concluded, some of the guidance documents were not completely developed, and ex-post changes were not always possible to incorporate in the assessments. Some of the particularities might relate to the use of the report or concept note templates or the absence of the indicator matrix where the detailed evaluation of all assessment criteria is compiled, among other topics.

The quality assurance process followed in the production of these MAPS reports satisfies all the requirements of the MAPS Secretariat and hence receives the MAPS ‘Seal of Approval’.
